The APWA Jail Project was started in 1993 with the sole aim of providing help to the ones who have been cut off from their dear ones. For this purpose, we have started an industrial home and legal aid service centre.

The Industrial home has 25 sewing machines. The instructor visits the centre five days a week, the course is spread over six months and APWA provides course completion certificates to successful inmates. Till date 400 inmates have been trained by APWA. The Industrial Home is supervised by a senior and talented teacher Ms. Naseem who imparts knowledge of stitching and embroidery.
